Catherine Gale


An accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution practitioner, Catherine has almost 40 years experience helping clients reach mutually acceptable solutions in Family Law matters.

Catherine has been a leader in the development of Collaborative Family Law in Australia. She is actively involved in training lawyers in the collaborative family law process and also lectures in Collaborative Law at Monash University. – View Catherine’s profile and professional qualifications.

Experience gained over many years working in this field reveals how difficult divorce and separation can be from emotional, financial and legal perspectives. Catherine is committed to guiding clients through the process in the most amicable way possible, while still achieving a legally binding outcome for them.

Catherine takes the time to understand her clients’ concerns and wishes and then helps them reach a positive outcome without necessarily having to pay the emotional and financial price of a protracted court battle.

Charlotte Monaghan 

Charlotte Monaghan - resolve conflict family lawyers

Charlotte is an Associate Lawyer at Resolve Conflict who joined the firm in 2015 as a paralegal. She graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Law and Arts and completed her practical legal training at Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

Charlotte has experience dealing with a wide range of family law matters including complex financial disputes and parenting matters. She combines empathy with a pragmatic approach and focuses on providing practical and timely outcomes for her clients.

Alyson Gale


Alyson joined the firm in 2010 and is a versatile member of our team. Starting in our accounts department whilst also providing general administrative assistance to our legal team. Alyson is a graduate of the University of Ballarat and in 2016 graduated from Masters of Law (Juris Doctor) at Monash University.

Since achieving her Masters of Law Alyson has worked as a Graduate Lawyer and Mediator assisting family law clients to reach sensible solutions.

Joanna Zouki

Joanna Zouki graduated from La Trobe University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. She then completed a traineeship in a prominent city law firm in 2015 and was admitted to practice in April 2016.

Joanna gained extensive experience in general practice whilst working at a boutique city firm before finding her niche in family law, joining Resolve Conflict in August 2017. Joanna prides herself on her preparation and attention to detail. She has an empathetic yet commercial approach when assisting clients to achieve a sensible and timely resolution.
