Matilda McGuire

Matilda is a Graduate Lawyer at Resolve Conflict. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Philosophy and Politics, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.

Prior to joining Resolve Conflict, Matilda gained experience working as a paralegal at a Community Legal service providing legal advice and representation to women at risk of entering the criminal legal system, where she developed her understanding of holistic and preventative case management. Before this Matilda worked assisting Judicial Officers at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, where she developed her passion for Family Law.

Matilda is focused on helping to deliver pragmatic, solution focused and emotionally sensitive outcomes to clients.

Interests

Outside of work, Matilda enjoys escaping the city to spend time in nature, seeing live music, cooking and indulging in leisurely weekend mornings in bed with a book.
